Ghosts and Murders Walking Tour

You don't have to believe in ghosts to enjoy this walking tour. Hear about reported ghost sightings. Walk in the fatal footsteps of Fannie McCue, wife of Charlottesville's former mayor and prominent lawyer, Sam McCue. Hear the witness testimonies. See where it all happened. Decide for yourself who is guilty of this famous 1904 murder.

Meeting Place: York Place on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. York Place is across from Miller's Restaurant, a half a block from the movie theater, two blocks from the Omni Hotel. Marco and Luca Dumpling and Noodle Shop is located in York Place.   Map to York Place.

The tour takes about two hours and covers approximately 1 mile over mostly flat terrain. It is completely wheel chair and stroller accessible.

Time: Starting at 8:00 PM

Days:   2008 schedule -- Thursday, Friday and Saturday April 3 through November 1.
